Aleiia Asmundson

Research Assistant

Aleiia grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan and just completed her BA in Psychology at Duquense University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she was a NCAA Division 1 rower. She has been a diving and rowing coach for many years, and loves teaching and mentoring children. Her interest in psychology developed in high school, where she became intrigued with developmental and high performance psychology. Having been a competitive athlete since the age of 10, Aleiia has developed some chronic pain issues and has experienced fear avoidance along the way. She is excited to dive into research that will help better understand the psychological impacts that pain and fear avoidance have on children.
