Anya Nair

Master's Student; Co-supervised by Dr. Kathryn Birnie

Sharanya (Anya) is a Master’s student in Clinical Psychology, where she hopes to listen to, learn from, and support newcomer youth living with chronic pain and their families. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Family & Child Studies from the University of Guelph. Anya is particularly interested in understanding how language and familial roles shape adolescent chronic pain experiences in the context of acculturation.
