Charles Mabutas

Charles is currently in his third year of undergraduate psychology studies. He aspires to either be a future counselling psychologist or psychiatrist. His interests include, but are not limited to the following: paediatrics, psychosis, and child and adolescent psychiatry. 

Inspired by the resilience of youth, he volunteers at Crisis Text Line powered by Kids Help Phone. When he’s not volunteering to help adolescents in their painful crises, he manages the Schizophrenia Spectrum Awareness Club (SSAC). As president of the SSAC, Charles aims to reduce the stigma around conditions that involve psychosis. 

Occasionally, he also likes to play video games, particularly Hearthstone and Overwatch.
